Come learn basic homeopathy for first aid & acute care for yourself, your family and your pets. This course will be a one day, six hour class, held on the first Saturday in November. This course will be held in Durham on Guess Rd, near I-85.

General topics covered: basic foundations of homeopathic philosophy & theory, top homeopathics for first aid, remedy & potency selection for first aid indications, methods of dispensing, book & resource selection, etc. Types of home health care covered will include: cuts & bruises, colds & cough, flu, earache, burns, insect stings, sprains & strains, travel illnesses, childhood fevers, menstrual cramps, emotional first aid, etc. There will be time also for questions and discussion.

Homeopathic remedy kits and books will be available for sale.

The instructor will be Julie Insley, who is a nationally certified classical homeopath (North American Society of Homeopaths and Council for Homeopathic Certification). She serves on the Applicant Review Committee for the CHC. She also is a consultant to the Program for Integrative Medicine at UNC-CH. Additionally, she is the NC field clinical instructor for the Cadueceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy.
