Welcome our new new store manager! Christina DeCosmo has accepted a position with the DFC and will officially join us November 13^th. I am especially pleased about this accomplishment and confident that Christina will be an invaluable addition to the DFC community and staff team. She has worked with Whole Foods in a lead capacity, grew up with her family’s restaurant, is food safety certified and brings a cache of complementary and transferable experience and skills to the DFC at a most essential time.

The Board and Staff Team welcome Christina and will collaborate to develop a strategic orientation & training process, so that she can come on board with ample support, clear & accomplishable priorities, and measurable objectives which support the DFC’s growth & sustainability goals.

We’ll hope to host a welcome potluck shortly after Christina gets started, perhaps a Thanks Giving gathering when we can come together as Neighbors, Members, Staff and all, to encourage, support and fortify our cooperative connections and commitment as stakeholders in this community based cooperative enterprise.
