a sad but important article to read about *legal* immigrant farm workers. from the ages of 10-14, i lived in california, on the outskirts of Fresno... an area much like Eastern NC. I remember going to school with mostly children of immigrant workers, and during the harvest seasons the migrant worker camp kids came to my school. these people work hard and live a rough life... please read.
