Richard talked with Denise VanDeCruze about her experience with the food co-op in Durham, North Carolina. The food co-op is not your normal big box grocery store in that the decisions and actions are based on what is best for the co-op community, not a desire for profit. Learning about these differences may enlighten our understanding of how we interact with our food and our community.
